Handcrafted in Italy

Many La Bottega di Casa tablecloths are prepared and finished in our atelier in Follina, Treviso, among the Prosecco Hills of Veneto.

Depending on the collection, details may include hand cutting, carefully sewn hems, mitered corners and traditional hemstitch finishes.

We also collaborate with selected Italian weaving mills and artisans whose fabrics and techniques reflect the textile traditions we value.

Printed, Solid Color and Classic Tablecloths

A tablecloth can be the quiet foundation of a room or its most expressive element.

Choose a printed linen tablecloth when you want botanical motifs and color to define the table; a solid-color linen tablecloth when texture and tone are enough; or a classic tablecloth when the beauty of the weave and traditional finishing should take center stage.

These different collections are also designed to work together. A shorter printed tablecloth can be layered over a larger solid linen base, while a runner can introduce pattern without covering the entire table.

Custom Size Linen Tablecloths

Standard dimensions do not suit every table.

Many of our linen tablecloths can therefore be made to your measurements, including unusually long or wide tables and, depending on the collection, round formats.

The possibilities depend on the width of the fabric and the construction of each design. Printed tablecloths with decorative borders or placed motifs, for example, may have specific limitations.

Layering Linen: A Different Way to Dress the Table

One of our favorite ways to create a personal table is to work with layers.

Start with a generous solid-color linen tablecloth as a base. Add a shorter printed tablecloth or a runner above it, allowing the colors and textures of both fabrics to remain visible.

The same linen base can then change character throughout the year simply by changing the upper layer, napkins or accessories.

It is a relaxed approach to table dressing that allows pattern, color and natural linen to coexist without making the table feel overly formal.

Yes, many of our plain and allover fabrics can be made in round formats. Some printed designs with borders or specifically placed motifs cannot be adapted to a round shape. Please check the individual product or contact us with your table dimensions.
