The Ramage Blue hemp and linen tablecloth is a new L’Arcolaio design for the fall–winter season. Deep blue ornamental motifs unfold across a light natural ground, creating a tablecloth with a distinctive Italian character that feels decorative without becoming overly formal.
Made in Italy from 50% hemp and 50% linen, Ramage is available in standard dimensions and can also be custom made to your table measurements. Pair it with our solid-color linen napkins in blue, cream or white, or introduce an unexpected contrasting shade. Matching Ramage table runners are also available upon request.

An Italian Blue Ramage for a Distinctive Table
Ramage combines a light natural ground with sweeping ornamental motifs in layered shades of blue. Leaves, scrolls and small floral details form broad decorative bands, giving the cloth presence while leaving quieter areas around the table setting.
The result feels distinctly Italian: refined, expressive and easy to interpret in different ways.
Although introduced by L’Arcolaio for the fall–winter season, Ramage is not limited to a seasonal table. Blue and natural linen work throughout the year, changing character according to the dinnerware, flowers and accessories around them.
The Ramage fabric is woven in Italy by L’Arcolaio from a blend of 50% hemp and 50% linen. These natural fibers give the cloth its distinctive texture, substance and beautiful drape.
The ornamental blue pattern is part of L’Arcolaio’s new fall–winter textile collection.
Each Ramage tablecloth is cut and sewn by La Bottega di Casa in our own atelier in Follina, Italy, with careful attention to pattern placement, proportions and finishing details.
The finished tablecloth carries the La Bottega di Casa label and is available in standard dimensions or custom sizes, subject to fabric width and pattern placement.
There is no need to match every element on the table.
Choose solid-color linen napkins in cobalt or another blue to emphasize the print, or use cream and white for a lighter setting. A contrasting color in the ceramics, flowers or glassware can give Ramage a more unexpected and personal character.
White porcelain, clear crystal and silver bring out its more refined side, while handmade pottery and natural wood make it relaxed enough for everyday entertaining.

Ramage can also be ordered as a custom-size hemp and linen tablecloth.
To calculate the finished dimensions, measure the length and width of your tabletop and add twice your preferred drop to each measurement. A drop of approximately 10–12 inches (25–30 cm) on each side is a versatile choice for most dining tables.
For example, a table measuring approximately 47 × 87 inches with a 12-inch drop would require a finished tablecloth of approximately 71 × 111 inches.

Before first use, a brief soak in cold water without detergent is recommended.
For regular care, machine wash at 104°F / 40°C using a mild detergent. Do not bleach. Treat spills promptly with water and neutral soap, avoid tumble drying and allow the cloth to dry naturally. Iron with a hot iron while the fabric is still slightly damp.
Ramage is not coated and does not have a stain-resistant treatment.
