Tell us the length and width — or the diameter for a round table — and we can help determine the finished dimensions according to the drop and look you prefer.
Some clients choose a shorter, more contemporary drop. Others prefer the generous proportions of a traditional Italian table setting.

Our collections are created using carefully selected natural fabrics, with linen at the heart of La Bottega di Casa.
Depending on the collection, you can choose from refined plain linens, relaxed washed linens, jacquards and our distinctive printed fabrics.
Our solid-color linen tablecloths offer an understated foundation for the table and can be used alone or layered beneath one of our printed tablecloths or runners.
For a more expressive table, our printed collections feature many exclusive La Bottega di Casa designs, created to bring botanical motifs, color and character to natural linen.
Handcrafted in Our Atelier in Follina
Our custom table linens are made in Follina, in the province of Treviso, an historic village surrounded by the Prosecco Hills of Veneto.
Each made-to-measure tablecloth is individually prepared and finished by skilled hands.
Depending on the fabric and collection, finishes may include carefully sewn hems, mitered corners or traditional hemstitch detailing.
This combination of natural fabric, skilled workmanship and attention to proportion gives every La Bottega di Casa tablecloth its distinctive character.
Rectangular, Square and Round Custom Tablecloths
We can create custom tablecloths for many different table shapes and dimensions, including rectangular dining tables, square tables, round tables, unusually long dining tables and tables requiring non-standard dimensions.
The possibilities depend on the width of the fabric and the construction or design of the individual collection.
Certain printed designs, particularly those with a decorative border or specifically placed motif, may have limitations regarding shape or maximum dimensions. Round versions, for example, are not possible in every printed collection.
If you are unsure whether a particular design can be adapted to your table, simply send us your measurements. We will advise you before the tablecloth is made.
How to Measure for a Custom Tablecloth
For a rectangular or square table, measure:
Table length + desired drop on both ends
Table width + desired drop on both sides
For example, if your table measures 100 × 40 inches and you would like a 12-inch drop, the finished tablecloth would measure approximately 124 × 64 inches.
For a round table:
Table diameter + twice the desired drop
If you are uncertain about the ideal drop, send us the dimensions of your table and tell us the look you would like to achieve. We will be happy to help determine the appropriate finished size.
From Relaxed Linen to a More Formal Table
Custom does not necessarily mean formal.
A washed linen tablecloth with its naturally relaxed texture can be perfect for everyday dining, a country house or an informal summer table. A classic linen with an elegant finish can create a quieter, more refined setting.
A custom solid-color tablecloth can also become the foundation for one of our favorite ways of dressing a table: layering linen.
A plain linen tablecloth underneath a shorter printed tablecloth or runner adds color, depth and personality while allowing the proportions of each layer to be adapted to your table.

Many of our collections can also be coordinated with linen napkins, runners and placemats.
Depending on the fabric, some of these pieces can also be made in custom dimensions, allowing you to create a table setting that feels considered and personal without becoming overly formal or matched.
How to Order a Made-to-Measure Tablecloth
Choose the fabric or collection you love and send us:
- the dimensions and shape of your table;
- your preferred drop, if you already know it;
- the tablecloth or fabric you are interested in;
- any particular requirements you would like us to consider.
If you do not know the finished dimensions you need, simply send us the table measurements and we can help calculate them.
Once the details have been confirmed, your tablecloth is prepared especially for you in our Italian atelier.
Most custom orders are normally ready within approximately 2–3 weeks, although production time can vary depending on the fabric, finish and time of year.

Can you make a linen tablecloth in any size?
We can produce a wide range of custom dimensions. The maximum possible size depends on the width of the fabric and the construction of the particular design. Send us your table measurements and we will confirm what is possible.
Can you make custom round linen tablecloths?
Yes, round tablecloths are possible with many of our plain and classic fabrics. Some printed designs with borders or placed motifs cannot be made round. Please contact us before ordering if you are interested in a particular printed collection.
How much should a tablecloth hang over the edge of the table?
There is no single correct drop. A shorter drop creates a more relaxed or contemporary look, while a longer drop feels more traditional and formal. If you send us your table measurements, we can help you choose the proportions.
How long does a custom tablecloth take to make?
Most custom tablecloths are normally prepared within approximately 2–3 weeks after the order and measurements have been confirmed. Timing may vary according to the fabric, finish and season.
