If you have been looking for a magnolia linen table runner with real presence — flowers at nearly life scale, watercolour depth, a piece that reads from across the room — the Magnolia Rosa is what you are looking for. The runner is cut from the continuous fabric of the Magnolia line: the same large-scale watercolour as the allover tablecloth, with magnolia flowers in dusty pink and deep carmine, dark green foliage, and grey sketched blooms almost transparent against the natural linen ground. In the runner format, the large scale of the design gives its very best: the flowers run along the strip in continuous succession, and the centre of the table becomes a magnolia branch in full bloom.
And because the fabric is continuous, with no fixed repeat module, no two runners will ever be identical: the cut point determines which flowers appear, in which sequence, with which balance between full pink and grey sketch. As with all natural linen products, small fibre irregularities may be visible — slubs, weave variations, slight differences in thread thickness. These are not flaws: they are the signature of natural fabric, and part of what gives the cloth its character.

In the shabby chic kitchen — the long rustic table, the cane-back chairs, fresh roses in the vase, decorated porcelain — the runner is the romantic heart of the scene: the painted flowers converse with the real ones and with the decoration of the plates, in a coordinated floral crescendo.
In the contemporary kitchen — marble, warm wood, neutral stoneware, ribbed glass — the runner is the only decorative gesture, and precisely for that reason the most powerful: a strip of garden on a minimal table. Why is every runner different from the next? The runner is cut from the continuous fabric of the Magnolia line, which has no fixed repeat module. The cut point determines which flowers appear and in which sequence: two runners cut at different points will have different compositions. The runner you receive will be coordinated in palette and design with the one in the photos — but with its own unique composition.
Can I order a different size? Yes. The proposed size is 19″ x 65″, but we make different dimensions on request — longer for large tables, shorter for consoles and sideboards. Contact us with your preferred measurements.
