Ibisco Linen Table Runner
$69.22 – $92.29Price range: $69.22 through $92.29
The Ibisco table runner is made from pure linen printed with an abundant watercolor botanical design. Hibiscus flowers, irises, hydrangeas, berries, and garden flowers unfold across a natural linen ground.
Each runner is individually cut from the continuous Ibisco fabric used for our tablecloths. The placement and combination of the flowers therefore vary naturally, making every piece different.
Available in standard and custom sizes, it can be placed directly over a wood table or layered over a solid-color linen tablecloth. Cut and sewn in the La Bottega di Casa atelier in Follina, Northern Italy.
Made in Italy.

The Ibisco table runner by La Bottega di Casa is a one-of-a-kind Italian linen table runner, hand-cut in our atelier in Follina, in the Veneto region of Italy, from botanical printed linen woven by Tessitura Toscana Telerie — the same fabric as our Ibisco tablecloth.
Some things are made by the thousand; others are made one at a time. The Ibisco table runner belongs to the second family. It is hand-cut in our Italian atelier in Follina from the very same printed linen we use for the Ibisco tablecloth — and because the design is one large botanical story flowing across the full width of the fabric, each cut captures a different portion of the garden. One runner may be centred on the great white hydrangeas, another on flowering hibiscus branches, another still on soft pink blooms and pale peonies. No two Ibisco runners are alike: yours will be, quite literally, one of a kind.
As with all natural linen products, small fibre irregularities may be visible — slubs, weave variations, slight differences in thread thickness. These are not flaws: they are the signature of natural fabric, and part of what gives the cloth its character.
Pure printed linen by Tessitura Toscana Telerie, a historic Italian weaving house we have worked with for years. It is the same linen as the Ibisco tablecloth: soft hand, natural drape, and that living texture only true linen can give.
The fabric is machine washable on a gentle cycle, and like all good linen it grows softer and more beautiful with time and washing.
A table runner is the most versatile way to dress a table: it protects it, decorates it, and transforms it without covering it completely.
The Ibisco runner is hand-cut and finished with tailoring precision in our atelier, with the mitered corners that are the signature of La Bottega di Casa pieces. And it carries something no industrial production can offer: the certainty that your runner, with its own portion of the garden, belongs to no one else.
The Ibisco table runner is offered in the standard sizes listed on the product page and can also be custom made.
For a custom order, customers should provide:
- tabletop length and width;
- desired finished runner length;
- preferred drop at both ends;
- whether the runner will be layered over a tablecloth.
Maximum dimensions and production time must be confirmed before the order is accepted.

What makes this table runner different from mass-produced runners? Unlike industrially produced table runners, each Ibisco runner is hand-cut in Italy by La Bottega di Casa, an artisan linen atelier in Follina, Veneto. Because the botanical print flows continuously across the fabric, every runner captures a unique portion of the design — no two runners in the world are identical. Hems are finished with mitered corners, the hallmark of tailoring-grade linen.
Why is every Ibisco runner different? Because we hand-cut each one from the printed Ibisco tablecloth linen, and the botanical design varies along the fabric. Depending on where the cut falls, each runner shows different flowers and branches: every piece is unique and unrepeatable.
Can I order a custom size? Yes. Alongside the standard sizes, we make the runner to measure for your table, within the width of the fabric. Write to us with your measurements and we will guide you to the right size.
How do I wash it? Machine washable on a gentle, low-temperature cycle with a mild detergent. We recommend ironing it while still slightly damp — the linen springs back to its full beauty.
Does it match the Ibisco tablecloth? Yes — it is cut from the very same fabric, so runner and tablecloth share the same design, colours and linen quality, and look wonderful together on the same table.
