Rio Multicolor Floral Linen Napkin
$17.44 – $23.26Price range: $17.44 through $23.26
The Rio linen napkin brings a free-spirited floral pattern to the table, where blue, pale blue, fuchsia, coral, yellow, and green meet across a natural linen ground. The pure linen fabric by Tessitura Toscana Telerie is individually hand-cut and tailored by La Bottega di Casa in its Follina workshop, with carefully finished mitered corners.
Because each napkin is cut from a continuous-pattern fabric, the placement of the flowers and colors varies from one piece to another. Every napkin belongs to the same design, but no two can be perfectly identical.

A linen napkin that embraces color
Rio treats the napkin as a small textile composition. Large painterly flowers, leaves, and botanical forms overlap in an expressive pattern, made more natural and tactile by the visible texture of pure linen.
The design is exuberant, while the precise cut and mitered corners bring tailored refinement. This meeting of craftsmanship and freedom of color makes Rio particularly representative of La Bottega di Casa: elegant, individual, and never predictable.
The napkin feels naturally at home on a sunlit summer table, but it is not limited to one season. Placed over a solid-color tablecloth, it becomes a vivid accent capable of transforming even the simplest setting.
Every Rio napkin is different
The Rio fabric features a continuous design. The position of the flowers, leaves, and individual colors therefore changes according to where each piece is cut.
Two napkins may display different areas of the pattern while remaining perfectly coordinated. This variation is not a flaw: it creates a more spontaneous table and makes every napkin naturally one of a kind.
Small irregularities in the weave or slight variations in thread thickness are also normal characteristics of pure linen and part of the fabric’s authentic beauty.
One of the simplest ways to highlight Rio is to place it over a natural, ivory, or white linen tablecloth, allowing the floral pattern to become the focus.
For a more personal setting, choose a solid tablecloth that picks up one of the colors in the print: blue, green, raspberry, mauve, yellow, or lobster coral. White plates, handcrafted ceramics, and clear or green glassware complement the design without competing with it.
Rio napkins can be used together or alternated with solid-color linen napkins. The natural differences between individual pieces add movement to the table while preserving a harmonious palette.
The napkin coordinates with the Rio linen tablecloth, Rio linen table runner, and Rio linen placemat.
The tablecloth, runner, and placemat can also be custom-made, allowing the Rio collection to be adapted to the proportions of a particular table.
There is no need to use every matching element together. Part of Rio’s character lies in the freedom to combine its expressive pattern with solid tablecloths and accessories, creating a different table each time.
Machine wash at 104°F with a mild detergent. Do not bleach, and preferably avoid tumble drying. Iron on high while the linen is still slightly damp.
Treat stains promptly with water and mild soap, avoiding aggressive cleaning products.
La Bottega di Casa grew from an Italian tradition centered on natural fabrics and finely tailored household linens. In our Follina workshop in the Prosecco Hills, we select Italian textiles and make tablecloths, runners, placemats, and napkins with careful attention to cut, proportion, and finishing.
From our store in San Miguel de Allende and through our online service, we personally help clients choose the sizes, colors, and coordinating pieces best suited to their homes.
