If you have been looking for a floral linen placemat where every piece is genuinely one of a kind — not a repeated pattern, but a unique composition born from the cut — the Ibisco is what you are looking for. The placemat is cut from the continuous fabric of the Ibisco tablecloth: the same summer garden in watercolour — white and pink hibiscus, blue irises, hydrangeas, branches of red and black berries, golden-hearted wildflowers on natural linen ground. In the 16″ x 19″ format, the design reveals a close-up framing of that garden — and the second photograph shows it better than any description: the two placemats set side by side are clearly sisters, yet neither is the same as the other.
That is the nature of the product: the fabric is continuous, with no fixed repeat module, and the cut point determines which flowers appear on each piece. No two Ibisco placemats can ever be alike — every piece is a unique fragment of the same garden, and every set table is a different flowerbed.
As with all natural linen products, small fibre irregularities may be visible — slubs, weave variations, slight differences in thread thickness. These are not flaws: they are the signature of natural fabric, and part of what gives the cloth its character.

Why is every placemat different from the next? The placemat is cut from the continuous fabric of the Ibisco tablecloth, which has no fixed repeat module. The cut point determines which flowers appear on each piece: two placemats cut at different points will have different compositions — as the second photograph shows, where the two placemats set together are clearly sisters, but never identical.
If I order six, will they all be different? Yes — coordinated in palette, design, and style, but each with its own composition. On the table, the effect is that of a garden: the same flowers, never the same flowerbed.
