Limoncello Linen Napkin

Price range: $17.46 through $23.28

The Limoncello linen napkin brings lemons, citrons, green leaves, and delicate naturalistic drawings to the table. The pure linen fabric is created by Tessitura Toscana Telerie; each napkin is then individually hand-cut and tailored by La Bottega di Casa in its Follina workshop, with carefully finished mitered corners.

Because it is cut from a continuous-pattern fabric, the placement of the motifs varies on every piece: no two Limoncello napkins will be perfectly identical.

Description

A linen napkin with lemons and citrons

Yellow lemons, sculptural citrons, green leaves, and fine naturalistic drawings alternate across the light linen ground. The brighter colors are balanced by softer graphic details, creating a printed napkin that adds personality to the table without overwhelming it.

The natural texture of pure linen and the mitered-corner finish give the botanical design a precise, carefully tailored frame.

Every Limoncello napkin is different

The napkins are cut from a continuous-pattern fabric. The position and number of lemons, citrons, leaves, and smaller naturalistic elements therefore change from one cut to another.

Some napkins may feature more of the yellow fruit, while others highlight the foliage or lighter line drawings. They all belong to the same decorative composition, but each piece presents a different section of the design. This variation is an inherent feature of the fabric and makes every napkin unique.

A simple yet refined table

The Limoncello napkin looks particularly beautiful against a solid-color tablecloth. The printed motif becomes the decorative focus of the setting, while the tablecloth provides a quiet, elegant foundation.

La Bottega di Casa offers solid-color tablecloths in a range of coordinating shades. Deep green echoes the foliage in the print, pistachio creates a lighter effect, while warm yellow, clay, and natural tones complement the colors of the fruit.

It is an effective choice for a table that feels simple but considered: a solid linen tablecloth, understated dinnerware, and Limoncello napkins are enough to create a distinctive and personal setting.

The Limoncello collection

The napkin, table runner, natural linen placemat, and coated linen placemat are cut from the same continuous-pattern fabric. They share the same colors, subjects, and pattern scale, although each piece displays a different section of the composition.

The natural linen tablecloth and coated linen tablecloth feature the same lemons, citrons, and botanical drawings, but use a coordinating fabric on which the motifs are printed at a larger scale.

The collection can therefore be used to create a fully coordinated table, or the Limoncello napkins can be introduced as the only patterned accent over a solid-color tablecloth.

Caring for the linen napkin

Machine wash at 104°F with a mild detergent. Do not bleach, and treat spills promptly with water and mild soap. Tumble drying is best avoided. Iron on high while the linen is still slightly damp.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Limoncello napkin made from pure linen?

Yes. It is made from 100% natural printed linen.

Why do the napkins not all have exactly the same design?

They are cut from a continuous-pattern fabric. Each napkin therefore displays a different part of the composition while retaining the same colors and motifs.

What sizes are available?

The napkin is available in 16 × 16 in / 40 × 40 cm and 22 × 22 in / 55 × 55 cm.

How are the Limoncello napkins finished?

Each napkin is individually hand-cut and tailored with mitered corners in La Bottega di Casa’s Follina workshop.

Can I pair them with a solid-color tablecloth?

Yes. Limoncello napkins work especially well with solid-color tablecloths in green, pistachio, warm yellow, clay, or natural tones. The contrast creates a table that feels simple yet refined.

Which other products belong to the Limoncello collection?

The collection includes table runners, natural linen placemats, coated linen placemats, natural linen tablecloths, and coated linen tablecloths.

How should the linen napkins be washed?

Machine wash at 104°F with a mild detergent. Do not bleach, preferably avoid tumble drying, and iron while the linen is still slightly damp.
