The Limoncello table runner brings lemons, citrons, green leaves, and delicate naturalistic drawings to the table. It is made from pure printed linen by Tessitura Toscana Telerie, cut and tailored by La Bottega di Casa in its Follina workshop, and finished with mitered corners.

A linen table runner with lemons and citrons
Luminous yellows, natural greens, and fine graphic details alternate across the light linen ground, creating a botanical design that feels expressive yet balanced. The Limoncello linen table runner adds color without covering the entire table, allowing the surface of the wood, stone, or underlying tablecloth to remain visible.
It works for a relaxed breakfast, a summer lunch on a covered terrace, or a more carefully styled table. White plates, handcrafted ceramics, clear or green glassware, and small terracotta accents naturally complement its colors.
Every Limoncello runner is one of a kind
The runner is cut from a fabric with a continuous design. Lemons, citrons, leaves, and smaller naturalistic elements do not appear in exactly the same position on every cut.
All Limoncello runners share the same palette and motifs, but no two pieces will be perfectly identical. This variation is not a flaw: it is an inherent feature of the fabric and gives every runner its individual character.
The runner, natural linen placemats, coated linen placemats, and napkins are made from fabric featuring the same design at the same scale. The natural and coated Limoncello tablecloths use a coordinating fabric with the same botanical subjects printed on a larger scale.
The runner can be placed directly on a wood, stone, or other tabletop, leaving the surface visible along both sides. It can also be layered over a solid-color tablecloth to create a fuller setting and emphasize the central botanical design.
For a richly coordinated table, pair it with the matching Limoncello linen napkins. For a quieter result, choose solid-color linen napkins in green, ceramic yellow, pistachio, or clay.
The 20 × 67 in size works well on smaller tables, while the 20 × 94 in version suits longer rectangular tables. The best choice depends on the length of the tabletop and the amount of drop desired at each end.
The Limoncello collection allows different coordinating pieces to be combined according to the table and the occasion.
The runner, natural linen placemat, coated linen placemat, and napkin are cut from the same continuous-pattern fabric. The exact placement of the motifs therefore varies naturally from one piece to another.
The natural linen tablecloth and coated linen tablecloth feature the same lemons, citrons, and botanical subjects, but they are made from a coordinating fabric on which the design is printed at a larger scale. All the pieces belong to the same collection, although the size of the pattern is intentionally different.
Natural linen highlights the texture and hand of the fabric. The coated pieces offer a more practical surface for settings where easier everyday cleanup is the priority.
Machine wash at 104°F using a mild detergent. Do not bleach. Tumble drying is best avoided, and the runner should be ironed on high while the linen is still slightly damp.
Treat spills promptly with water and mild soap without using aggressive cleaning products. This runner is made from natural linen and does not have a coated or stain-resistant finish.
Is the Limoncello runner made from pure linen?
Yes. It is made from 100% natural printed linen and does not have a coated finish.
Why is the design slightly different on every runner?
The runner is cut from a continuous-pattern fabric. The position of the lemons, citrons, leaves, and other elements changes from one cut to another, making every piece unique.
What sizes are available?
The Limoncello runner is available in two standard sizes: 20 × 67 in / 50 × 170 cm and 20 × 94 in / 50 × 240 cm. Custom sizes are also available.
How can I order a custom-size Limoncello runner?
Send us your tabletop dimensions and tell us whether you would like the runner to end on the tabletop or extend over both ends. La Bottega di Casa will recommend an appropriate size and confirm feasibility, price, and production time.
Is the Limoncello runner stain resistant?
No. This version is made from natural, uncoated linen. The collection includes a coated linen placemat and tablecloth for customers who prefer an easier-to-clean surface.
Which products coordinate with the runner?
It can be paired with the Limoncello natural linen placemat, coated linen placemat, and matching napkin. It also works with solid-color linen napkins in green, ceramic yellow, pistachio, or clay.
How should the linen runner be washed?
Machine wash at 104°F with a mild detergent. Do not use bleach, preferably avoid tumble drying, and iron while the linen is still slightly damp.
