Lemons and citrons for a light-filled table
The Limoncello tablecloth interprets the Mediterranean landscape through ripe lemons, citrons, leaves in different shades of green, and small naturalistic details drawn across a light linen ground.
The pattern is expressive but includes visually quieter areas that allow dinnerware, glassware, and decorative objects to stand out. It works naturally in a bright kitchen, a relaxed yet refined dining room, or on a table arranged for a meal on the patio.
White or cream ceramics, clear or green glassware, and simple arrangements of flowers or citrus fruit complement its palette without competing with the print.
Pure linen with an acrylic stain-resistant finish
The textile base is 100% linen printed by Tessitura Toscana Telerie. The tablecloth is then made by La Bottega di Casa in our Follina workshop, in the Prosecco Hills of Italy.
For this version, the linen is given a protective acrylic finish. The treatment helps slow the immediate absorption of water, wine, and small food spills, giving you time to wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
The tablecloth retains the visible weave, textile appearance, and character of the underlying linen while offering easier everyday care than the natural version.
“Stain resistant” does not mean completely waterproof or guaranteed against every possible substance. Spills should always be removed promptly to preserve the fabric and its finish.
Both the natural and coated Limoncello tablecloths use a fabric on which the lemons, citrons, and botanical elements are printed at a larger scale.
The Limoncello runner, placemats, and napkin are made from a coordinating fabric featuring the same subjects and colors in a smaller scale.
The tablecloth has a continuous pattern. The position of the fruit, leaves, and graphic elements may therefore vary according to the chosen size and the section of fabric used. Every tablecloth retains the same palette and atmosphere, but no two pieces will be exactly identical.
The Limoncello coated linen tablecloth is available in the following sizes:
- 67 × 67 in / 170 × 170 cm, square;
- 67 × 106 in / 170 × 270 cm, rectangular;
- 67 × 126 in / 170 × 320 cm, rectangular;
- 67 × 150 in / 170 × 380 cm, rectangular.
Custom sizing is also available within the maximum fabric width of 67 inches / 170 cm. Length and feasibility are evaluated by our workshop according to the dimensions of the table and the placement of the design.
To calculate the appropriate tablecloth size, add twice your preferred drop to the tabletop measurements. A drop of approximately 10–14 inches on each side generally creates balanced proportions.
For a custom order, send us the shape and dimensions of the tabletop, your preferred finished drop, and any special requirements. La Bottega di Casa will confirm feasibility, price, and production time.
For a fully coordinated setting, pair the tablecloth with Limoncello linen napkins. The napkins are also cut from continuously patterned fabric, so the position of the motifs varies naturally from one piece to another.
For a simpler and more restrained table, choose solid-color linen napkins in green, ceramic yellow, pistachio, or clay. These colors repeat details found in the print without making the overall setting feel too busy.
The collection also includes a runner, natural linen placemats, and placemats with an acrylic stain-resistant finish. A natural linen Limoncello tablecloth is available for customers who prefer the original hand and traditional drape of untreated linen.
For everyday cleaning, wipe the surface promptly with a soft damp cloth. Do not use abrasive sponges, bleach, or harsh cleaning products, as these may damage the acrylic finish.
For more thorough cleaning, follow the instructions on the product label or contact La Bottega di Casa.
The tablecloth can be used for outdoor lunches and dinners, but it should not be considered a technical outdoor cover. Store it after use and do not leave it permanently exposed to rain, direct sunlight, or changing weather conditions.
Is the Limoncello tablecloth made from pure linen?
The textile base is 100% printed linen with a protective acrylic finish.
How is it different from the natural Limoncello linen tablecloth?
Both tablecloths feature the same design and scale. The natural version retains the original hand of the linen, while the coated version has an acrylic finish that slows absorption and makes everyday cleanup easier.
Is the tablecloth waterproof?
The treatment helps protect the fabric from everyday spills, but the tablecloth should not be considered completely waterproof. Liquids should be wiped away promptly.
How should I clean it?
For everyday care, wipe the surface with a soft damp cloth. Follow the instructions on the product label whenever more thorough cleaning is required.
What sizes are available?
The standard sizes are 67 × 67, 67 × 106, 67 × 126, and 67 × 150 inches.
Can I order a custom-size tablecloth?
Yes. Custom sizes can be requested up to the maximum fabric width of 67 inches / 170 cm. Length is evaluated according to the dimensions of the table and the placement of the design.
Why can the pattern vary from one tablecloth to another?
The tablecloth is cut from continuously patterned fabric. The placement of the lemons, citrons, and leaves therefore varies according to the section used.
Can the tablecloth be used outdoors?
Yes, for dining on a patio or covered veranda. It should be stored after use and not left permanently exposed to outdoor weather.
