A Floral Linen Tablecloth Inspired by Botanical Engravings
Gravure is a floral linen tablecloth with a design that feels detailed yet remarkably light. Fine gray illustrations, reminiscent of the pages of an antique botanical book, are combined with colorful elements that appear across the fabric like small watercolor paintings.
Flowers in different shapes and colors, delicate branches, leaves, butterflies and birds create a free-flowing composition rather than a rigid decorative pattern. The result is an expressive tablecloth that works beautifully in classic homes, country interiors and more contemporary settings.

A Design Rich in Detail
Viewed up close, the print reveals a succession of small naturalistic details. From a distance, the individual illustrations come together to create an airy botanical landscape.
Areas of stronger color alternate with monochromatic drawings, adding movement to the drape of the tablecloth and allowing the design to appear slightly different according to the shape and proportions of the table.

The original fabric is produced by Tessitura Toscana Telerie and transformed into a finished tablecloth in the La Bottega di Casa workshop in Follina, in the province of Treviso, Italy.
Each tablecloth is individually hand-cut, sewn and completed with mitered corners. This tailored finish creates clean, carefully constructed corners and enhances the natural drape of the linen.
In addition to the standard dimensions available online, the Gravure tablecloth can be made in a custom size. This service is especially useful for very long dining tables, square tables or tables with unusual proportions.
To request a custom linen tablecloth, simply send us the measurements of your table and the drop you would like. Before confirming the order, our workshop will verify what is possible according to the width of the fabric and the placement of the design.
To calculate the finished size, add twice your preferred drop to both the length and width of the tabletop.
A shorter drop creates a more relaxed and contemporary appearance, while a longer drop gives the table a more traditional and formal look. If you are uncertain about the right proportions, send us the measurements and shape of your table and we will help you determine the most suitable finished size.

Custom made items
To balance the richness of the botanical print, we recommend pairing Gravure with solid-color linen napkins. Ceramic Yellow echoes the golden and orange flowers, while Green reflects the leaves and stems. Nembo creates a quieter, more neutral combination, and Pumpkin emphasizes the warm tones within the design.
The tablecloth also pairs beautifully with white or ivory dinnerware, colorful handmade ceramics, clear crystal and natural centerpieces. A simple vase of garden flowers or a few loosely arranged green branches is all that is needed: the Gravure print already provides the table with color and character.
