La Bottega di Casa is an Italian home linen brand born in the Prosecco Hills, in the province of Treviso, from a family tradition spanning more than a century.
For over thirty years, we have selected, designed, and created linens for the table, bedroom, kitchen, and bath, with a tailored approach to fabrics, finishing, and detail. We work primarily with linen, cotton, damask, linen-cotton cloth, hemp, and other natural fibers, choosing Italian and European materials made to last and to become part of everyday life.
Alongside pieces created for our own label, we offer a considered selection of home linens and decorative objects from Italian and European companies. The result is a personal, eclectic, and recognizable collection: refined in quality, but never predictable or tied to an overly traditional idea of home.
Our Story
La Bottega di Casa was founded in Italy, inheriting a family tradition rooted for generations in textiles and the home. Before taking its current name, the business was known as Il Negozio di Casa until 1998. Today, our Italian workshop is in Follina, in the heart of the Veneto hills, where we continue to oversee the production and making of many of our pieces, including custom linens.
In 2000, La Bottega di Casa also opened in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Now located inside Fábrica La Aurora, our store brings our Italian way of living with textiles to an international city loved by travelers, artists, interior designers, and people from around the world.
Over time, San Miguel de Allende has become an important part of our story. Daily encounters with different sensibilities have broadened our perspective and strengthened what has always defined us: the freedom to combine colors, patterns, fabrics, and objects without following a predetermined formula.
What We Do
Each collection begins with careful research. We choose fabrics, colors, patterns, and finishes to create homes that feel refined but never rigid. We love authentic textures, exclusive designs, solid colors, and sometimes unexpected pairings. We play with textiles with both seriousness and skill, seeking a personal balance between harmony and surprise.
Many of our pieces are made in Italy and can also be custom made. This allows us to create tablecloths for distinctive tables, personalized home linens, and textile solutions made for real homes rather than standard dimensions alone.
Ours is a subtle kind of luxury, expressed through materials, thoughtful workmanship, and precise finishing. It is not defined by austerity, neutral colors, or traditionalism. It can be found in a quiet classic tablecloth, but also in a daring pattern, an unexpected pairing, or a playful accessory made for everyday use. It is Italian elegance with a free, unconventional spirit.
